A&Q about 350Z
Q:
I was all excited because my new 19" wheels and tires arrived today. The first tire was mounted and getting balanced when they noticed something was wrong with the tire. I forget exactly what they said, but when it was spinning it was very obvious that it seemed to move a little to one side at a certain point, almost like the wheel was bent. They said the wheel was fine but I will need a new tire or face a wobbly ride. I'm incredibly dissapointed. I purchased Michelin PS2s--guess I got a bad one somehow. Now I have to wait while 1 new tire arrives. Sorry just wanted to vent.

Sorry, I forget that I posted everything a few days ago. 19x9 SSR GT3 front, 19x10.5 in back. Tires are Michelin Pilot Sport PS2s 245/35/19 Front, 275/35/19 Back. They looked great--was sooo looking forward to putting them on--OH WELL!!

That sucks dude. It happens from time to time though. 1 out of a 1000 maybe. At least the guy mounting/balancing them had enough integrity to tell you about it. He could have not said anything until you came back. Then told you "you must have hit a curb to bend the wheel like that." "Now you have to buy a new wheel and tire."

I didn't buy the wheels and tires from the people putting them on. I got them online at tirerack. So they wouldn't have gained anything by not telling me what they saw. Normally tirerack mounts and balances eveything before it is shipped, but I had them sent seperate to place my tire pressure monitor in the new wheels. I rarely use the monitor, but the idea of constantly having a little light on telling me tire pressur is low just bugs me. I'll get back with you about the pics DaddyPhatSaks (that's a word I don't type often). Thanks!
