The tint used 10-15 years ago would bubble up when you used the rear window defrost. Tint is better these days.
I'd use the defroster as needed. If you got it from a reputible place they should warranty the tint if it bubbles. Call them and them what they think.

I've had my windows done and don't see any problems after using my defroster. Granted, I've only had it on for a few months and I haven't used it much.

The defroster will not get hot enough to damage window tint.
