A&Q about 350Z
Q:
What should i do people. I live in southern california, as most of you know, its prolly ILLEGAL to tint my windshield..but screw chp haha, so what should i do, tint my WINDSHIELD (yes the big glass in the front that u look out of while driving 90% of the time) or..not??
Theres a picture of my car feel free to check it out, ive already got the side windows the small rear windows, and the far back rear window all tinted (small rear and back back rear are limo, passenger and driver are 35% or..medium) i was thinking of getting my windshield 35% also, which is the same as the driver and passenger side windows. What do u guys think, who cares bout the law, will it look good or no?
PS...if u have a picture of a superblack z witht he windshield tint, let me know that would help ALOT!!! thanks, Dan

I think it would look good, however other drivers will not be able to see you.
Kinda makes it a hazzard. People watch other drivers when changing lanes and turns without lights to make sure they see you.

In Cal. you can black out your rear and rear side windows as long as you have left and right outside rear view mirrors. The side windows from the driver forward have to be tinted no more than what a CHP/cop can see at night when he pulls you over at night. The windshield can only be factory tinted. With the exception of aftermarket tint, 6" down from the top of the windshield. Any tinting other than that of the windshield is a no no.
However. If you go to 20% tint on the sides, you won't be able to see in the w/s as well, and it will give the apperance of having a tiinted w/s.
But if you don't care about the law or getting drawn down on by CHP. Give the w/s a good 80% tint and it won't attract too much attention.

thats the most retarted idea i have ever heard.
what are you going to do when your driving at night and cant see ****?
sometimes less is better, and if you tint your windshield your not going to be able to see very well at night, cops will be all over yoru ass, and it will just look like your trying to damn hard.

They will go away faster in hot heavy sun conditions. If it's been cloudy or you keep it inside/carport/parking garage all the time it'll take longer. It needs direct and hot sunlight to cure it faster.
