A&Q about 350Z
Q:
For those that participate in track events, consider the following:

The Spec racer pilot was unhurt after the accident, but unimpressed with Z brakes!
A:
He was "Owned" by the Z...
A:
Haha, didn't think the 'owned' thing was too funny till I got midway through the pics. That's hilarious.

hehehehhehe getin stoped on by a Z. hey thats pretty cool that yall reconized that as a Z. most 350Z owners ive encounted on the road id give them a thumbs up, and they would just stare and look away, like they dont even know a first gen.

I wave at 350z drivers and the majority of them don't wave back at me.
Don't take it personally. Some of them don't feel the passion we do.

I get negativity from every Zer I encounter. Doesn't matter what model. I got one wave from another silver Z32. That's one of about 10 Z's I've encountered.

I hate when that happens. I try to show some respect for the Z and the people that drive them, but i never get anything in return.

i would agree that the pendelum swings both ways between late and early model Z owners.
for the early model owners, they resent the newness of the Z, consider it an anti-heritage car, and show 'tude that's just not authentic, nor required.
for the late model owners, they don't recognize the older Z's, when they do they consider them inferior, and show 'tude towards other 350 owners for whatever reason.
the only time i ever saw this childish behavior before was on motorcycles. you could wave or thumbs up any bike other than harleys. those guys on harley would return the gesture with more... lewd... gestures. of course, we all knew that those harleys were a joke, they were more into chroming things than driving, and who wanted to belch oil all over the road, driveway and garage? there was the whole harley "outfit" thing too - heck of a fashion statement.
so, guess we all need to lighten up a bit. i still wave, but sometimes i wonder if i'm just embarassing myself.

Looks like mating season. When can we expect a litter of little orange and white spotted go-carts? I'll take one after its weaned.
How's Mama doin'? Papa needs a little practice with his foreplay!

I try to wave as much as possible... to any Zcar and I can spot them, old and new.
Sad thing about the older Z's in my area, is they look like crap and the owners are not (alteast from what I can tell) proud Z owners. If you don't respect your own car, you're not going to respect someone else's.
encountering 350s is semi-rare for me... I've run into this one older gentleman in a red roadster on more than one occasion now and he has been very friendly.
I've never gotten a wave from anyone in a silver Z, sad to say.. and that is the 350z I see the most.

I was stopped at a stop light yesterday next to a 350Z. The guy glanced over so I know he saw me. I waved the entire time we were at the red light(being a smartass). No response at all. He was probably upset that some punk kid(35) could afford the same car he had.
I had one earlier that day that waved as he went by me while I was sitting in a driveway trying to get into traffic.
IMO I think it's just people being inattentive and not really "noticing" other Z's. Some are just complete snobs though.
