Took car to dealer today due to loud vibration and noise coming from blower for heat and A/C. Service advisor brought entire blower assembly to me for inspection. Apparently a mouse had moved in and packed the whole unit with every thing you could imagine. Insulation from garage walls, bird seed, etc. Luckily for me, the unit still vibrated after cleaning and re-install, so dealer was good enough to order new unit which means now I am covered by the waranty.

This happened to me last year also. The car was a few weeks old and the AC would shake the whole dash. Turned out that I had a shitload of nuts in the blower assembly. For a month I had to keep removing the blower and getting the nuts out. I also had snap traps under the car to catch the bastards. That didn't work so I got a 5 gallon bucket and filled it halfway with water and topped it off with some bird seeds, then put a 2x4 plank leading up to the bucket. Next day, all the bastards sat quietly in the drowning pool.
