A&Q about 350Z
Q:
Well, I finally removed the two orange reflectors in the headlights this past weekend. Replaced the turn bulbs with sivlerstars as well. Took quite a bit of work for two little reflectors, but it saved me from having to buy the $700 clear lights.
To me the front end now seems cleaner and the clear lights flow with the body. Now I've got a good 10hp over the rest of you...one for each clear headlight.

Sorry guys. I took the pics just now with my phone. I'll try to grab some better resolution pics when I can.
It's definitely quite the task. I'll try and put together a DIY with pics.
You'll need to remove the wheels and most of the front end. Including the front clip. This will expose the headlight assemblies for you to remove them. Then, you'll need to take out the bulbs. Bake them in the oven at 200 degrees for 10 min. This will soften the silicon seal.
I'll post more when I get home.

front clip is not the correct term, unless you cut the front part of your car off....in which case i would say the 700 would be worthwhile

I'm too lazy to go through the entire process again. I did, however, dig up a good DIY for those interested. He talkes about a different mod but same steps.
http://www.350zfrenzy.com/forum/view.php?s=&pg=diy_black_headlight
However, in the first step on this DIY, there are more then 10 bolts.
He also states 9 minutes at 200 degrees. This may leave the silicon still semi hard. I found 10 minutes to 13 minutes work best. Careful of the hot light assembly though. Email if you have any questions.
