A&Q about 350Z
Q:
I havnt driven a 350 yet but I heard the brakes are mushy even if you opp for the brembo
A:
teddawg, you have been sadly misinformed!
i can assure you they are not "mushy".
A:
Whenever you depress the brake pedal, line pressure is increased by the master cylinder. When you immediately depress it a second time, not all of the line pressure has dissipated. Thus the pedal doesn't go down as far to actuate the brakes.
You've just discovered what many racers learn when the brake pedal goes soft from heat and overuse. You "pump up" the pedal a few times before you REALLY need to get that 120 MPH straightline speed down to 30-40 MPH to make that hairpin turn!

i find the comment on brembos to not be my situation. i find the brakes wonderfully sensitive to my foot. no fade, no problems here.
perhaps you need some sort of warranty adjustment of some sort?

hmmm interesting.....well that takes a load off my shoulders. Guess everything is ok then. Thanks guys.
Anyone notice the vibration when they first start off? Try a really easy start and at about 15mph see if you fill a little ripple go thru the gas pedal.

Not so. No difference between first and second (or more) presses of the pedal and absolutely no fade - even with aggressive driving on mountain roads. I love my Brembos and big rotors.
They are almost too good - in a panic stop situation, woe be unto the guy behind me.

I agree with the posts that state they have no mush on the brembos. My brakes are solid and wonderfully responsive. I'm about to add GreenStuff pads however to stop the dust. I'm thinking you may have some air in your brake lines. Perhaps a brake line bleeding should be done.
A:
BS. the brake pedal is pumping up. youve got a problem, a good brakeing system will always have a constant pedal height and should never have to be pumped up.

prolly need to get flushed...
