steel wheels for winter?

Heh heh...I grew up driving in Adirondack winters, so Rochester, NY winters are no big deal. :) I remember commuting on I-87 one day, where there was a 12 car pileup, and all the cars were in PARK! (all the cars slid downhill, due to freezing rain and being held up by a tractor-trailer accident).
And, the beater would be an option, except my garage is already full of toys. I'll be sure to tell the wife that the beater car was YOUR idea! :) I'm already in trouble since I was supposed to bring home a Honda Element for her, and drove up in the 'Z instead...
So, any idea where to get steel wheels that will fit?

good idea. The Honda Element sounds like a good beater. You can get steel wheels for that.

j-yard, lug pattern can't be too unique, find out what cars have the same and hit up the ol junk yard.

Oh man, aramis.
You were "suppose" to bring home a Honda Element for your wife, but you went home with a Z? *ouch*

Also there is Ebay. Like bama16 said, just look for other cars that share the 5x114.3 pattern. I know off the top of my head the Camry has that pattern.
