Hey guys,
I was thinking about trading or selling my 2003 Z for the 2005 model. Same Enthusiast model. I know i will lose money on my current Z, but i am sure i can negotiate the 2005 for under MSRP. Any thoughts or anyone thinking about doing this also? Thanks.

don't do it.... all 03's and some 04's handle like a beast....wait for Nissans recall and you'll be glad you didn't trade it in.

ThriftyZ, Do you have any substantiated info on such a recall? Where can I read about it? I am confident that something has to be done but may have missed out on recent info, official or unofficial.

When I say "handle like a beast" I mean that they handle EXTREMLEY WELL for its proportions. Nissan didn't screw up in designing the car's body, suspension, etc... They screwed up in using proper materials for the specific purpose. The 03's and some 04's had the original "feathering setup" which was slightly revised in late 04' and current. Well, that original suspension setup made for a real nice handling car....noticeable at speeds in excess of 75mph. Wait for the recall...

will it be a recall or tsb? if it's a tsb then everyone past their tire warranty is out of luck.
