I only spoke to the salesman re the various color options; didn't see the actual car in that color.
A:
The Liquid aluminum paint is alot brighter than the chrome silver. If you put the 2 cars beside each other, you will notice how much brighter the sun shines on it vs. the other. As far as chipping. NO This color chips just as bad as the others and in fact, might even be worse. I have the Liquid Aluminum and I already have several chips on the front. The paint seems to be extremely soft.

I saw a Liquid Aluminum '04 Z at the Anaheim, CA car show last Aug.
It is a "Whiter" silver than chrome silver.
I might have a picture on my back ups somewhere.
