350Z Tires

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

All,
I recently had a flat on one of my rear tires for my 350z. I was looking for some advice on how I should proceed. The front tires are 225/50/17 and the rear are 235/50/17. Due to a recall they will be replacing the front two tires for me in the next few days with the type it came with, Bridgestone Potenza. My question is what to do with the rear tires? I spoke with a sales guy at a tire place and they said the Goodyear Eagle GSD3 are the best tires I could buy for the back tires. But then in a review I saw the Toyo Proxes tires had better handling, i'm not really too concerned about the price difference. So do I replace the back tires with the goodyear tires, the Toyo tires, or just use the same tires as the front which would be Bridgestone? I'm not sure if it would matter if the front and rear tires are different makes? Also if I got the same type I guess I could use the other rear tire, that still has about half its life left, as a spare in the future in case of another flat. Anyway, any advice would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

I dont own a z yet, but I have a mk1 mr2 with a hella badass racing suspension, and i got some falcon azenis on that, the handeling capabilitys are insane I hit a pretty decent overcrest turn on the highway going 90 and It stuck perfect the rubber gets really sticky when you get it heated up but the rubber wears down pretty quick but the tread is very deep they have a ton of surface area. if you dont get those you sould definatly consider some toyo proxes 4, pirelli p zero corsa, or yokohama avs sport
