2005 350Z SEATS!

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

I just got some new info on seats of the 2005.5 350Z's. They are going to re-inforce with a contoured, light and strong ABS plastic running down the back of the seat.....similar to that of the E36 and E46 BMW M3's. The seats are told to be designed and manufactured by a "top-end" sports seat manufacturer....although, Nissan will badge it with the "Z" logo. Nice job Nissan, keep it up!

wht do you know so much & are you cheap?
is Toyaota goind to use that Volta for new Supra, look too hot for just an LEV
A:

Toyota's Volta is a cross-creation between Italia desingers (i.e. Lamborghini Diablo, Ferrari F355, etc...) and Toyota Futura Design (i.e. Prius Hybrid, ULEV, etc...). Toyota's plans for the next Supra will be something in the price range of the 350Z, RX-8, etc... The Volta is an example of what the company is capable to producing, and the current status of the company. I don't know if you know this, but Toyota/Lexus have cornered the market in every cataegory...except sports cars. So the Volta maybe the ice-breaker! Nice looking car though....

will they replace my 2003 seats at no charge?
A:

I'm convinced you know what your talking about in the auto world. You certanly know above and beyond a well read enthusiast if you forgive my Z model ref. But why 2 years for a fix on tire feathering?
And when will the skyline GTR be available here. I have a budget for next years purchese as usuallt keep 2 cars in the stable. Need one with back seat to complete my need for family...albiet a sporty one
BTW I am quite happy with the lack of problems with my Z especially for a pre ordred car 9/02, far less than my quite good Tahoe. My dealer has been excellent & better than any others from my many purchases.

so you obviosly have an insider view of the automotive world. So tell us what your position & what Comapny you work for...and what kind of car you drive?
A:

I am a Project Manager for a very large construction company in downtown Chicago. I drive a Corvette Z06....traded my 350Z in for it, and paid the balance off clean. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and so do many of my "other" friends who now work for big name companies like Toyota, GM, Ford, and Daimler Chrysler....but I get paid more than they do....lol. I know the in's and out's of the mechanical function of a specific part for a car, as I was taught to design them and fabricate them in a educational lab at school.

I was actually a part of the team in reconstructing and remodeling the Pheasant Run Resort Theatre entrance and new dining area they have. I even got a chance to talk about cars with Rodney Dangerfield...lol. Nice place though, although....St. Charles is a drive from where I live. I hate the drive up there.

I ran th Z06 on the track @ Bob Bell race school in Fla. Great car but I hope they improved the inerior to Recaro type seats and a sportier dash in the C6
A:

I know, the interior is a bit cheap and cheasy....yet, a bit more refined than most GM's, almost like Yukon Denali interior quality. I like the new C6 Vettes....Nav system and better quality interior. I might trade my current Vette to a C6 when they become a little less demanding and "known."

Something smells in your posts. In an earlier post you said you were a "Blueprint Estimator", now you are a Project Manager. "One of your roommates" is posting under your name? How many roommates does a Blueprint Estimator/Project Manager need? Is that so you can pay the balance off clean, whatever the hell that means? Sorry, I don't post here often but I know BS when I smell it! Guess thats why I don't visit often, but it was good for a laugh on a boring Monday at work!

A I am a Project Manager.....my work is in "estimating" material costs for commercial building and construction. Trust me, I am who I say I am. I have no reason to bullshit anyone here, I never have and never plan to. Read all my older posts if you want.

A:

You're stroking yourself; your older posts are what tripped you up. And if I read "I just found out" or "I just heard" one more time, I might puke, especially the ones where "I can't tell you where I found/heard, etc". Again, did your "roommate" use your work computer? ISP is for a particular computer, not an account. LOSER!
A:

PerfZ,
you have no idea of how networking works! I have Comcast digital cable...we have three pc's in our apartment, all of which are hooked up to a Cable router/hub. The router distributes new IP addresses to all computers which are derived from the original IP address that Comcast gives you. If you read what happened as I expalined it on the previous post, you'll see that he created his own username on this forum using this my laptop....and I actually found out that he did this a while back before me. He decided to play a trick by starting his own post "mocking" my posts. Look, I don't care if you don't believe me, I'm telling you what really happened.
