Aftermarket shift knob

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

Has anyone replaced the OEM shift knob? I'm searching for one made of carbon fiber in the same shape as the OEM knob.
During the past couple of 90+degree days, I've had to change how I grip my OEM shift knob. The aluminum on the knob just gets too hot to touch when the car's been sitting in the sun.

I've already been branded with a reverse shift pattern... shame I can't use it as a map to find the lost ark!

it's funny but you have to do it a few times before you remember to shift with your fingertips only on the leather.

two collapsible shades fit in windshield area and keep direct sun off your interior. No shift pattern branding. I also fit a larger one under the hatch glass, keeping the edge behind the bulkhead in place with a spring loaded curtain rod.

Yeah, freakin' just got scalded again. I guess I'm a slow learner. Maybe I'll make my own CF knob modeled after the OEM knob.

I dont know about carbon fiber, but mom makes a really sick racing shift knob called the corsa light weight, I think it's titanium, but I'm not sure, but it's pretty bad its hollowed out and it's in a perfect racing bulb shape
