A&Q about 350Z
Q:
Never run your nice Z through a carwash...Unless its touchless, or take it to a carwash and use the bay to pressure spray it yourself...all cloth carwashs leave light scratches...The problem is that the dirt from everyones shitty @ss cars get cleaned with the same cloth thats now gonna now touch your beautiful Z...The cloths do get cleaned usually once a week but still if you have a real dirty car going in before you then beware. I used to work at a carwash...and I had to clean those cloths with a pressure washer at least twice a week after we closed or when it rained...and man if you saw the $hit that came out..you would think twice about taking your car to a carwash.
Depending on how bad the scratches are you may have trouble getting them out. Well, I would recommend taking it to a proffesional detailer and see what they can do. They have the proper tools and buffers to do the job right. I wouldn't mess with a beautiful paint job. Most of the products everyone is naming works best with a high speed buffer which requires a highly trained or skilled proffesional to use. But it depends on how bad the scratches are, if you cant get it out by hand then take it to a proffesional detailer.

if the guys that washed your car had on any kind of jewlery or watch on their wrist they could have very easily scratched the roof as they reached to scrub the center.
hand car wash places are good if you go early in the day before they runn alot of cars thru and always check to see they the ones cleaning your car are free of jewlry, belt buckels etc.

Yeah man I'd go clay bar (won't touch the scratches but gets rid of any surface contaminants that could scratch it up some more), Meguirs Scratch X, and then Meguirs Polymer sealant. If the Scratch X doesn't get it out go with the wet sand, followed by scratch X etc. Basically you've got to find something abrasive enough to get the scratches out, then work backwards
