A&Q about 350Z
Q:
Just finished reading an article about 06 not 05 but 06 cross fire SRT with 335 horse power on motor trend magazine. 0 to 60 in 4.9 second and 1/4 mile in 13.3. man those are some serious numbers for something I would never consider wasting my money on. I want some more horse power on 06 350z. like 350+ or so. Nissan should plan to do that to stay on top with competitors. am I wrong? maybe they already have planed that.

I think they are desparate. the xtra HP will not sell the X fire.Heavy discounts the week it went on sale..who wants a obsolite benze chassis with a mini van grill?
most will buy the benze & get metal drop top and tri star prestige rather than penstar white trash mobile

Nissan should factory turbocharge or supercharge the 350Z. I mean '81-'96 they have offered turbo Z's and then when they released the new Z in 2002 its not turbocharged? Putting the Stillen Supercharger kit raises HP to like 300-350 so hopefully that is the direction Nissan will be taking.
78 280z Black Pearl 132K miles? could be 232k miles? who knows...

Just know that Nissan's ultimate road car is a V8. Turbo'd, but still a V8 none-the-less.

O I forgot
buying a 350z is like buying a v6 mustang or camero. both these cars come with v8 which makes them perform fairly good but some peolpe buy them with v6"s. who knows why.
the nissan 350z needed a 420 bhp twin turbo engine.

I don't have any problem with a GTR having a V8, more cylinders, more displacement, more power. Now if they put a chevy 350 in it, that would be another story.
efficient japanese DOHC power is still efficient japanese DOHC power, however many cylinders it has.

The nissan titan 5.6 liter would probably plant a 350z in the 12.90s to 13.20s. that would be sweet. but so would a turbocharger, I have heard that new eclipses are going back to the 4 cylinder turbo powerplant.
