I don't know about handing the Vette its a$$ but the Z use to be direct competition for the Vette. With the Z31 and 80s Vette they had 200 & 205HP respectively. Then Nissan jumped up to 300HP while the Vette had 330 (non ZR1) in the 90s. Now they're in a different class once again.

The R32 through R34 GT-Rs own the Corvette in every single aspect of performance. The new Skyline GT-R will not be as good as the past legend... trust me. (A V8 GT-R?!?! Give me a break!)

i could sell both my Zs and still be quite a ways from being able to buy a GTR, or even a 350Z or corvette.

HATE!?! yeah they were WAY underrated..and once again, look atBilly the kid's post. Car and Driver magazine...Z whooped up on the vette...I grew up with american muscle, from my dad who is probably the most able old school mechanic I know. He bought a '73 Z and even he could attest to its greatness. He's owned 3 so far now, still works on old cars, but no longer touches vettes due to their horrible reliabilty. Yes horrible. Let's check up on some very common electrical problems with almost all vettes? Do a search. I mean, I respect them, and currently this version of the Z doesnt come close power wise, but to say a vette is better than a legendary GT-R is rediculous...I doubt a stock vette engine could handle over 1,000 horsepower as well as a GT-R, not to mention all around performance. Please...Vette...come on now, you must have a mullet and a "the south shall rise again" tattoo on your right shoulder huh?
