Here in Tucson Arizona, one of the Nissan Dealers is offering free gas for a year and free tires for as long as you own your Nissan. Umm! Don't know what the catch is - there must be a catch. I want a fix before I purchase, but maybe I better jump on the band wagon in case there is no fix.

get it in writing i wish they offered that here in san diego.a 20$ dollar bill doesn't go far at 2.50 a gallon.

In many, if not most cases like this, the new owner would assume the assets -AND- liabilities of the previous owners. Otherwise anyone could walk away from their obligations by selling out....or simply erase them obligations through an "arranged" sale.

Thoroughbred Nissan has been in business forever here. I purchased 2 of the 4 Zs that I owned from them, so I'm not worried about them staying in business and yes, I'm sure it's not only leases. Just out of curiosity I plan to check the whole "deal" out this week. See exactly what kind of tires they'll be using as repacements. Free gas is cool, but I have to buy gas for whatever I drive.
