A&Q about 350Z
Q:
Hi,
I was looking over the new announcement from BMW and Apple about a loose integration where Apple's iPod can emulate a disc changer in some BMWs. The BMW integration doesn't work if the owner has a disc changer in their car or the premium sound system.
I'm annoyed that the Z doesn't come with an auxiliary input, so I have to use an FM adapter to use my iPod.
Some navigation systems read out directions to a particular location. Does the Nav system for the Z do that? If so, is it integrated with the car stereo?
If this were the case, then there would be some sort of audio input on the standard head unit, which could be used for an iPod or other MP3 player assuming the pin-out could be determined.
Does anyone out there have the Nav system with their Z?
Thanks

Yes. Nav system does have an audio system integrated with the car's BLOSE system.

Or you can get a radio tuner. I just use the tape. You can get them off the site. I am a mac addict. I got an ipod( as does the rest of the family) a G4 iMac, and a G4 iBook. love that little bugger

Don't get an FM modulator. They blow ****. Horribly. Use a cassette adapter if you have a casette player, but other than that, your outta luck for now.
