HomeLink suddenly stopped working

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

This just started today. When I press the garage opener (HomeLink) button, the light doesn't change to amber or red (whichever it is), and the garage door doesn't open. It's worked fine since I've owned the car, but this problem just started. The light is green and the mirror dims, but I get no reaction if I press any of the three HomeLink buttons. I tried pressing the 1st and 3rd buttons for 20 seconds but nothing. I also unplugged the cable in the back and replugged it back in, but nothing.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks!

Make sure there isn't any Navy ships in the area. Frequency jammers have been known to do that. Air force one also is capable along with special operations and other military vehicles. This post is also likeley to Disappear.

Mine did the same thing when it had about 3k miles. It was fixed by warranty, something about a loose connection.

The dealer replaced the rear view mirror. After about 20 seconds of reprogramming the new unit, everything is back to normal.
I noticed that a slight rattling sound that would happen while I was driving disappeared when my rear view mirror stopped working. I think it was related to something being loose in the mirror.
Nissan needs to work on getting their quality up.
