New Supra

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

looks nice but i doubt it will be anything like the Supra that does come out.
A:

It's described as a "supercar" likely well outside the price range of a Supra.
I'm impressed with the 400 hp, 0-60 in 4 seconds, and, thanks to its gas/electric hybrid engine, it gets an average of 40 MPG! Very impressive.
I'd like to see what Nissan is doing with hybrid autos, since Toyota and Honda are kicking Nissan's ass in this department.

That is not the new Supra. And if they do call it "Supra" the price is not going to be in the Z cars or even Corvette class. I read somewhere if it is produced it will be 150, 000 dollars. I also read in an automotive magazine, I believe Ward's Automotive, it is also on there web site, they were quoting the head of Toyota USA that the beloved Supra "will not be coming back." They called the sports car market too "fickle." Toyota sucks anymore. All they have are a bunch of old farts cars for the blue hairs and hearing aid type or they have cars for secretaries and young punks. Avalons, Camrys, about 5 different sport utilities and the atrocious little Celica (young punk, secretary car) and then they have this new line Xb or Scion's, whatever, that are so ugly I can't even look at them, I want to puke. I am very disappointed that a car company with the financial might and know-how, will not produce an affordable flagship sports car in the Z's price range. They must have way too many bean counters in charge of that company.

Hey There Buck boy.... slow down... I have owned my 350Z since November '02.... and I am one of those hearing-aid types you are referring to... Yes... I am older than you and it seems wiser since I don't flame people or stereo-type them...
A:

A:

imagine the blind spots!! gotta pay real attention when driving!!

You got that right. The original MR-2 from the mid 80s was by far the best.
