A&Q about 350Z
Q:
nevertheless sounds like a good race. I'm sure he was heavy modified, otherwise you would had destroyed a stock Mustang GT in any way, but still sounds like you were pretty close and i'm sure he was prettty surprise on how fast you were, thinking that he was gonna kill you right away. Good race....it's all about having fun, win or lose!

Are you in Washington state?
A:
No, Im down in Georgia.
My room mate has been caught drag racing a few times...this last time he risked losing his license until his parents bailed him out with a good lawyer. For getting him off with just a few hundred in fines his parents made him sell his fixed up Civic SI and get a F-150 truck which is the slowest thing on Earth :-)
Just thought I would share that cause my roomie said I'm gonna get caught after telling him of last nights race :-)
I always said he was stupid for racing when all I drove was my Frontier truck which is slower than slow. Now its funny how he has a truck and I'm the one racing.

By the way, I had someone with me during this race last night. Is there really anything different that would have happened if my car was 160 pounds lighter with the passenger subtracted from the equation?

A:
From what I've read, its not a good idea to race with passengers in the car.
A) It makes your car heavier.
B) LIABILITY. You will get f&*$ed upsidedown by an insurance co./lawyer if you are in an accident and you injure your passenger.
EDIT -- Oh yeah... and you could KILL your friend!... kinda worse.
I'd love to take on some joe sixpack in his modded up Mustang, but I'm waiting till I can race in a real track environment. You'll learn more and be safer doing it.

Hey dark,
I was reading your blog at your site and I saw sales as your job and in one post you mentioned selling lots of phones one day. I work for Cingular and was curious if you were referring to cellular as your career?

mine is 40 hours a week...i run all day and stay on the go (in other words, if you hang out in the back and slow with customers...not efficient) and bring in about $4500 or so a month before taxes. On a slow dead month id bring in about $4k.

I am top sales of the months too, thats why Ive been promoted. It's a little less pay for me though, it's harder when you work in a kiosk, people arent coming into your "store" But its still great pay.

right now i work 5pm-5am 5 days a week, the shift will eventually change but the amount of hours will stay the same. 2k every two weeks w/ a bonus check in march of approx 25k, all before uncle sam gets ahold of it. the hours are long and the work is a mental strain at times but i just set my focus on march and ride through the storms. thanks for the info twolow and dark.
