Removing Front License Plate

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

My Z Redline Roadster was delivered with a front plate. Darn! I would like to remove it, but I understand that this will reveal two drill holes in the bumper.
Does anyone know of inexpensive cosmetic fixes for these holes?
A:

I removed mine and put the plate BEHIND my Grille-Tech racing grill. Plugged the holes with a couple of nylon fastener plugs from Sears - cost $.25 a piece. you should be able to find them in the fastener section with screws, etc. My Z is a SB so I did not even have to paint them. Cheap fix - BumperPlugs is a rip!
A:

yea if you want to plug the holes pretty inconspiculously just shove something in the 2 holes thats pretty secure and buy some touch up paint and paint over them. performancenissanparts has touch up for like 3 bucks

I bought a blank Au-tomotive half-height chrome vanity plate and put a small Z emblem on it, i had to modify the stock plate holder but it looks 1000X better than having two holes or using plugs. This is just temporary since i plan on having the front and rear bumpers re-painted after the summer or maybe after next summer.

the bumperplugs link was pretty cool. Someone out there always beats me to the best ideas. I bet he makes at least $200 bucks a year. I could retire! ;-)
Seriously, thanks for the link. I added it to my site for future reference.
