they have some really nice portable ones that are plug and play.theses units go for around five hundred to a thousand dollars.do a search look for gps syatems look for magellan or garmen products.just an idea to save a lot of money that you can put else were.

A alpine monitor that my friend at Hifi Buys sells can install is said to look damn near factory under the nav door and the DVD-ROM nav drive can go in the back. That setup is about 2 grand and the nav is controlled by a remote control.
May go that route. DVD player can be added later or whatnot to it.
