Mine passed 21,500 before started feathering. Why these 280ZX & 300ZX owners answering to this thread???? Just like the real world they need attention. Poor things!!!

Wau, you people drive till 180,000. Did you purchase the car when it was already 160,000 when it was new to you (used car)?
By the way, mine (this is 350z) occured at 11k (tire replaced), and now it's 17k. I use it everyday to work. (my only car now).
My record of driving a car is 24,000 with 300zx black t top coupe. I purchased when it was 160k and drive till 180k plus. My next record (I will try) will be over 100k with 350z if I am not attracted to other new sport car. (less than 50k)

CadetSr,
1970 1/2 240z is the best, 1970 1/2 2000 roadster even better. These cars don't feather tires, why does the 350??????????

Early 80's (83) the best year? Are you joking? My 83 rusted to the ground. and it couldn't handle for sh#t. (Not to mention the acceleration sucked). Now if you live in a non-snow area then you can limit the rust factor. I owned an 80 and 83. They both were terrible cars. The 240's, 300TT's and the 350Z's are great cars.
Bama16 do you get feathering on your bike? Any rust?
My 350Z started to feather (cup) after 15K miles. The dealer gave me a free set of tires and a balance job. Even if I get another 15K out of the new set that means I will have had 30K miles before I have to spend a dime on a new tires. Not bad for a sports car.

That must be some kind of record for one set of tires! Lol, Lol, Lol, LOL Have a great day friend!
