Anybody use a clear guard bra?

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

I want a bra, but i've seen these clear bra's by 3M and others advertised. Anybody using one now, and is it good or is it noticeable? Where can I get them also and how hard are they to install

I am not using one ... got 2 chips the first week I had the car, researched all I could about these clear bras ... haven't had 1 chip since then, go figure. I'm gonna have to re-paint anyway... will wait till its time for a new body kit mod.
What I learned... these things are mostly installed by single guy outfits, in addition to some larger tint installing places. Most of what I've read advises against trying to install this yourself, I would recommend the same. Its similar to a tint installation, if you mess it up, its screwed and you're out the cost of the product.
You should be able to find someone to do a full install for around $600. (bumper, hood-partial, fenders, mirrors)
Had I known better when I first bought the car, this would have been my first stop from the dealer when I pulled off the lot.
