A&Q about 350Z
Q:
Hey. I've been watching this forum for awhile, and have been reluctant to post on it, because I dont' know alot about the technical stuff with the Z. I am in graduate school, and will be buying a Z when I graduate.
I have test driven three different touring versions, and I just go crazy each time I climb inside. I have been wanting a Z since they started talking about them in the new car shows, and I just found out yesterday, that I am pretty much 100 percent sure I can get one after I graduate. I can't STAND waiting! So, this will be the first post of many for me. I'll keep checking back, and you'll be hearing more from me as the time gets closer.
Just saw the new Z luggage, and bookbags. I can't wait! I'm thinking a black with black interior, or white with black. not sure. the orange is pretty bad ass. Sometimes I think I'm a little obsessed about it! but, driving them has made me that way!
Can't wait to join you guys as owner of a new Z.

get the lemans sunset (orange) color. you will never live to regeret it if you do. its a real head turner. i chose to upgrade to chromed out 18's as well. everyone stops me to ask what it is, and I get a lot of envious looks on the freeway. technical problems aside, none of which I have seen even after owning two diffrerent 350z's, you will love the car even more once you have it.

I went and test drove a Z again today. It was awesome, like usual. It's gonna be a long year. I think I have decided on black one, although I really liked the red too. Orange is really awesome, so I'm still considering it!
Didn't even turn on the radio. The exhaust note is GREAT

No sunset? Black? that's mine.
Yesterday: at the traffic light. He was driving volve station, and ..
"Hi! wanna trade the car with mine? that's a very nice car"
Yesterday: Just stepped up in my car and saw two guys staring at my car but thumbs up.
Yesterday: 2 nice ladies in corrolla tried to pass my car, but stopped when we were side by side. And ...
Yesterday: ...Yesterday: ... Yesterday: ... and keep going...

I love my redline. Im thinking of going with a custom black with red flakes..but it's gonna be really hard getting rid of that beautiful red...it gets soooo many thumbs up, young, old, man, woman, and (where I live at least) there arent that many, mostly blues and silvers. BUT, I'd probably go for a black on black if you are buying one, although the redline/black definately is a close second.

There honestly isn't a bad color combo on the z really. Black and white both look excellent, especially at night. My other choice would be the lemans or brickyard if you aren't buying new.

the Brickyard is VERY sweet..I would have got one if they had one there when i bought mine
A:
2003 Brickyard was my second choice.
If there was my Le Mans Sunset and a Brickyard side by side at the dealership together, I might be driving a Brickyard.
Classy color, especially with several coats of Zaino!
Although any color Z is great!

I'm not sure which color I'll decide. But, I feel like I eat, sleep, and dream Z. haha. I still have a year until I get one, but I might try and get it in January (I'll have the money I need then). I don't think I'll be able to sit around and wait, if I have the money in the bank. It'll eat me up! Leaning more towards the Black with black. Possibly the orange still though. Any of them will turn heads. I can't wait to be pumping gas, and having people check out my car!!!! I LOVE THE Z!!!! Can't wait!

By the way....I'm asking for the luggage for graduation from grad school. I won't be able to travel anywhere, but I'll have the fitted luggage!!!!

Boy, I hope that you get the Z of your dreams.
My husband bought a 280ZX and was the envy of the Big Easy. I had known him in college and we were friends, but it was the Z that made me take a second look!! ;)
Now that the kids are grown and in college, he surprized me with my blue beauty for our 23rd Anniversary! I just about live in that car. It is so much fun to drive and the compliments NEVER, EVER stop. This is just the most awesome design. I plan to custom order my next one in 2 years.
Believe these other guys, no matter what color you choose, you will LOVE it and you will get noticed -- I bet cha!!
Much success.

I certainly have my favorite colors Brickyard(discontinued), Black, Alpine White in that order, but saw that vibrant blue take a corner the other day and it took my breath away! Outfitted right it looks so awesome. Don't go for trendy colors. Tend to keep my cars awhile, but sure looked nice.

Guyusc350,
did you check out the post 350 & corvette? Check the Blue!!
A:
Hey, Joy,
Now THAT's what I mean!!!!! That blue is slammin', ain't it!!!! I plan to change to a chrome grill -- along with other chrome accents and boy I know that my baby will be tight. Any body got other ideas to offer?
O.K. guys and other Z ladies, help a girl out by suggesting some 'just to bad' rims and tires. But, at 45, I am not into those rims that spin. I MUST have something elegant, sophisticated, but SEXY. Gotta maintain my image -- you know! ;)
As for tires I want something that will hug the road, even in snow. I like to drive fast (but careful) and reside in the east where the winters can be quite harse. Also, I do not have a garage. Do any of you suggest a car cover in the winter? If so, what is your cover of choice?
This is a great forum! Thanks.

In2law1999 - Girlfriend,
I know you're having a ball in your Z. You lucky duck. Had the opportunity back in Dec., but shied away because of tire feathering problem. I will drive one eventually. Can't wait to get on this forum and scream at the top of my lungs - I 'm Rollin!! Did get a FX35. Blackw/20in chrome - I'm still rollin!! But I have to share with my husband. Our suv was totaled. The other car has 100,000 plus miles so not too long now. Until then- represent for all of us girls.
