A&Q about 350Z

I thought some of you Z owners may find this interesting. I was in love with the 350Z for months but didn't want to inherit the tire feathering problem so I bought a new 2004 Corvette Coupe 6 speed loaded. Its a great car both fast and pretty but I had to laugh when I got this in the mail. I got a recall called, "column lock bypass". So now I have to take my new vette in with 1100 miles and have something done to the computer so the steering wheel won't lock up while the car is running. Can you guess when this recall goes back to??? How about 1997, LOL. How's that for fast action on the part of GM. Its just amazing how long all the car companies take getting around to fixing some of these problems. So you guys with the tire feathering problems have faith. One of these days they will get around to you. I still love the Z and someday wish to own one hopefully with no front end problems. Good luck guys. Every time I see one of you I still get the feeling I should be behind the wheel of a Z. Maybe in a few years, who knows.

those are some real intelligent remarks digital... theres a reason the vette has been around strong for over 4 decades and will keep on trucking. the vette is an awesome car. and like the Z it represents a pretty no non-sense sports car thats easy on the wallet. granted the vette is 45k but theres no denying that it performs better than the Z. Id take one in a heartbeat. a vette is not trash. sure there may be alot of them around but thats just a testament to their popularity. if it was such a crappy car they wouldnt be selling them.

your corvette is awesome. it can hang with almost any car within $30k! corvette heritage makes the z look like an unknown car and has more prestige than a z. but you're gonna get flames if you present your new corvette purchase in the context of z feathering problems (definitely the most sensitive topic on z forums).

I just got a new 350Z Roadster and let me tell you I love it. I had a 99 red convertible vette. I dropped Corsa exhaust and a couple other mods and was running in the 400 horsepower range. I love my Z, but it can't hang with the vette. Nissan tried to compete with the vette years ago and failed. Thats why they quit selling them for a few years. Now they compete with Honda S2000 and boxter type cars. Hey Digital, I'm 26 and have had a 99 vette and now have a z so you can kiss this A@@ pal. I'm 26 and driving by high schools not 40. LOL. Redneck Ferrari digital? I don't think so. Just cause you can't afford a 50k vette, please don't playa hate biatch! Heads up display is also another GM invention that I wish my Z had. Don't get me wrong I love my Z. But when my lease runs up in 3 years, I'll be back in a C6. Ya Ya!

im a tru z fan. if u guys had the chance to buy a z or a vette for the same price, r u tellin me u would actually buy a vette over the z? i am interested in seeing the replies. things to keep in mind. the vette is ugly, it looks like the same ol thing. sure its fast, but come on, its still a corvette. u see so many, that nobody even looks at them. and like i said again, u never see younger people driving them because younger people know what looks good. its always the over 50 year old corvette die hard fans. im just speaking the truth, and u ass kickers dont. the z , look at the styling, its beautiful, has anyone ever compared the vette to the look of any hundred thousand dollar car. that car gets looks everywhere it goes. the sound that comes out of the stock exhaust and much more. much more than a played out corvette

Of course for the same price I would always pick the more expensive car. then I would sell it and get what I really want. The extra money will look nice in my bank account. Your question is dumb!
