"14.1 in the 1/4 mile. really slow!! quick story. at the college i attend there is this kid with a black 350Z. anyways he had his loud bass system and crap. reving his engine like theres no tomorrow. i pull up next to him and i rev twice. he continues to rev. we go out of the school and race. i eat him for breakfast, lunch and dinner. anyways a few days later he pulls the same routine. showing off infront girls and lame *** losers this time. im driving alongside with my friend brian. im in the mach hes in his z28... which sounds louder and meaner than my car. so the ricer kid revs and revs... we pull up next to him, me on the left brian on the right and we both rev... the kid shuts up!!!! one of the funniest thing weve ever done. we smoked tires a bit after that!!!"
Thought you'd get a kick out of it.... cuz we all know the Z is not about straight line acceleration, its about handling like its on rails... but a mach 1 for 24k aint bad???

how about this: with 1 post to his name, bcmoore is very new to the forum.
there are morons with Z's, just like there are morons with minivans. to think that just because the Z feels like it ought to attract the right kind of crowd... well heck, look at the bmw ilk.
let's face it, there are morons in every room, and it doesn't matter what they drive. of course, two or three morons racing is not a nobel prize entry either.
so long as people don't start pulling out guns, this sounds like harmless male mating rituals. what would have made it funny is if they jumped out of their cars in the parking lot and started head-butting each other, like those caribou do. now THAT would have been funny. as opposed to sad.

In general, I think there are far too many careless and imbecile drivers in my area at least that's not even funny. I have even seen police cars pull over cars with dark tinted windows assuming the driver may have had a gun. Is it a source of profiling? Maybe under certain jurisdictions there's a limit from the intensity of the color of a window. We all live in a visualized environment where individuals will be judged, criticized, and maybe even threatened.
In addition, I think the 350z is like a universal sports car with decent acceleration, has an exotic sounding exhaust, and the handlng of the 350z takes much less effort as opposed to a Z28 or Mach 1. The 350z is an exceptional car.
