Redline MT-90 in the tranny

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

I have a theory about manual transmission problems. Since I have had my 03 350z, I have let two people drive my car. Both of these drivers drive manual transmissions, one of them drives a truck, the other drives a euro sports car. The guy who drives a truck couldnt shift without grinding the crap out of my transmission, I had to make him pull over after just a few blocks. The other guy didnt have any problems at all, he actually really liked the performance of my car, says he wants one but he will wait till he can get one for 10 or 12 grand. He probably wont have to wait too long. Anyway It made me think that perhaps those people with problems just need to learn to drive these cars. And they better hurry up before the warranty runs out. Also I havent seen a TSB for faulty transmissions.

Not to flame you or anything, but "messing up" a tranny is not exactly a badge of distinction. Glad that the dealership and Nissan stepped up, but the object should be to keep that beautiful tranny working perfectly! After all, it's YOURS...

Lil liZ, you are just pouring the gasoline all over yourself! Of course, I (and other true Z lovers) CARE! So what if it's under warranty, there's no need to abuse a good car, especially a Z!
Somebody else may really like the abused Z when you decide to sell it to them next year. THEY might even take care of it and have the skills to drive it properly. Doubt that you'll ever TELL them about how you drug it through the dirt. JERK!
