A&Q about 350Z
Q:
Is it easy to swap the tire presure sensor? from my stock wheels? to the aftermakret ones??

A:
I'd guess they'd go into your new wheels easy enough. Now whether they'll function is another story. They may be tied into certain wheel diameters (stock,) but your wheel switching buddies will have to comment on that.

Hey cali i'm getting the volks you have and they told me the sensor fits no problem...

if they dont fit like normal, ive heard of people getting like a big thick zip tie or some type of metal band and secure the whole valve stem in the middle portion of the rim.

Sharp,
The value stem on the Volk GT-7 is a long tube bent 90 degrees to the center of the wheel and then out, that's why you can't use the TPS unless you want to reach inside the wheel to put air in. I don't know about the other Volk models if it's that way. Yeah, my 2nd link also describes how to strap the TPS sensor on the wheel. Also remember, you have to get the sensors re-calibrated at the dealer. If the place you are getting the Volks GT-7's from tell you the TPS will work without any modifications, that means they don't know anything about the GT-7 wheel or the TPS for the 350Z, either way I would have some second thoughts.
Great descion Sharp, you will be very happy. Now you have to start thinking of somehow lowering your Z tastefully to get rid of that gap on the rear wheels. I did it by getting the Nismo S-Tune suspension kit, good drop and the car can still be driven onto service ramps without getting scrapped up. Not planning to track my car anyways but i'm sure there are other good suspension setups you can get.
