Just an FYI for those who were asking about 0-60 mph times. Grassroots has an article on the 350Z versus the 240Z which aside from some nice insights about some of the technology behind the car, says that they regularly achieved around 6.1 seconds 0-60 mph in real-world situations, and 5.9 on the rare occasion. I would recommend reading the article, as they have a nice shot of the interiors showing the amazing similarities, such as the door handles and 3-display dash design. The conclusion of the article is that the 350Z is close to being what they would expect from the true successor to the 240Z, has good performance, and cheaps out on a couple of things (what they call the "Z-ness").

I read that article, I especially enjoyed it since I owned an original 240 (tear tear..too bad its gone) and I have a new Z now. They are right..i love the new one and all.....but the old one was a bit more fun.
