Curious about the Tire Feathering TSB.

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

So does the table represent miles on the odometer or miles on the tires?
I've had my tires replaced twice, already after 2 months I have the tire-feathering again. So I'm taking it in this morning for a L/R tire swap.
So these tires obviously have less than 5,000 miles on them, but the odometer has 20,000+. So that's why I was wondering what the TSB covers.

I am pretty sure the mileage is for the odometer, and not the tires.
There is no way that Nissan will let the counter go back to Zero every time they replace the tires. All they have done now is extend the warranty from
12K miles or 12 months to 21k miles or 24 months. But that wont fix the problem.
There is a rumor that the Nisssan engineers are workling on a fix, but I will believe it when I see it.
Nissan hopes that this new TSB will placate the masses for a while, and give us all time to roll over the lemon law cutoffs and our warranty.
