A&Q about 350Z
Q:
I went to my Nissan dealer last weekend (uneven wear on front tires) and they said I have to pay 10% of price of new tires. I have over 21,500 miles and they have a table and it shows % and miles. They said if I had less than 20K it would have been free (20% starts @ 22,000). Still I won't get the tires for another 30 days (back-order). They are going to be same brand as stock (Bridgestone) and price of each is around $ 225.00
Did this happen to anyone? I'm in Dallas, Texas. Thanks!
A:
Yeah, that table is right. It's from the new TSB. I just brought mine in and mine is covered because I am under 20k miles. Still not a bad deal for new tires, though.

it's more than a fair price considering that yo should only realistically expect around 20k miles from the tires to begin with before the performance really begins to degrade anyway
A:
After 25,000 miles we will have to replace our tires every 5,000 miles and pay the full price ourselves. A lousy deal.

Get with the program....Roomiz didn't pay $225 for the tires, he paid $25, and that ain't no "rip". And, if his tires lasted 20k, why would anyone suggest he's be buying new ones in 5k? Nothing wrong with bitchin' when the situation warrants but, in this case...........?
