A&Q about 350Z
Q:
This is my first time buying or leasing a ride and I was quoted the straight up MSRP of $45,700 from his Nissan binder and he broke it down to $4500 D.O.D. and $800 /month for 48 months INC. (all prices in Canadian)
Do they have to go by their book or how much can they lower it?
Is there any recommeded accessories they can throw in??
What's their commission?
Thanks!
A:
Is that $45,700 US Dollars? If so, what kind of car are you talking about? What city is this dealer located in?
It's been a while since I bought my Z, but at the time the most expensive unmodified Z was a Roadster for about $38,000 MSRP. And you don't have to pay MSRP.
You're asking the right questions. Be careful.

C'mon OLMNNTZ, you have the necessary information right there on his original post to answer your own question...he said it's all Canadian dollars!

The price is negotiable....my rep started at $35K + tax, tag, doc fees etc...making the total around 38K....we ended up at $35k out the door.....ask to see invoice and go from there. Go to carbuyingtips.com and read everything...it'll help u a lot

price is always negotiable.... if not free options and extended warranties are :)
A:
Supply and demand will dictate price. (also any government restrictions).
At least check with another dealer if there is one within a reasonable distance...otherwise you pay the price for what you yearn for.
Are there still no window stickers with the MSRP in Canada?
A:
There are window stickers with MSRP in Canada... the 350z Track is in the $50k (CDN) range I think.

Thanks for the advice!! There were none in stock when I was there so couldn't see a sticker. If even there was it still would have said $45,700 no?
