I went in to get synthetic oil droped in my Z. I told the service tech my tires were quite noisy. When I came back to pick my Z they had two new front tires on it (11,000 miles). I didn't even have to ask. They said it failed the tire inspection. Done!

Congratulations on your new tires and service you received at Feldmans. A far cry from my experience there. The service manager was a complete ass, and they marred one of my wheels on the infamous "tire swap". Never heard from them again after my response to Nissan survey, and I BOUGHT my car there. Maybe they have a new service manager by now.

they'll do that a few times until they can blame the rim being scuffed or the alignment being off. After 12K you'll probably have a fight on your hands.
The other thing is that you probablly got used to the noise over time since it comes on gradually so you probably needed those tires a while ago.
