sorry to bust your bubble but Nissan doesn't stand behind their cars like Honda does...

Thanks. Nice try. Still love my 350Z.
A:

I'd like mine more if it didn't feather tires. Seriously, you guys just want to let Nissan get away with this?
A:

If tire feathering doesn't cause a potential saftey hazard, Nissan isn't required to recall the automibiles are they?
Don't know for sure if this is true, just a thought.

A:

That is correct. Then again, who decides what is safe and what isn't. The noise distraction alone could probably drive at least one person insane enough to start crashing nearby cars.

I have owned several Hondas. The last 3 of them Accords. I currently own a 2000 Accord EX. The last 2 Accords were junk. Numerous problems, TSBs & recalls. Main seal blowout, defective ( broken ) stabilizer bars, radiator / water pump, motor mounts, distributor & transmission failures just to name a few issues. What has been particularly upsetting to me is the danger associated with many of these mechanical defects. For example, I received an extended warranty notice / warning on the distributor assembly on my previous Accord. Honda warned me that there was a possibility that my distributor assembly could fail causing the car to be difficult to start or that it may not start at all. Great. What they didn't tell owners, and what I overlooked, was that the car could stall in traffic. That's exactly what happened to me. I lucked out in that I was on a street with an open center area to coast into and not the 405 freeway or I would have been splattered. Like a fool I gave Honda another chance and bought this 2000 Accord EX. What happens ? Another extended warranty notice / warning advising me that my A/T may fail. No warning signs to speak of. It could just fail. Needless to say it's nerve-racking driving the car, especially on the freeway, knowing that the transmission could go out at any moment. MY HONDA EXPERIENCE HAS PUT THE Z'S PROBLEMS IN MUCH BETTER PERSPECTIVE.

Trade it in for a segway. At least you won't have to worry about tires feathering.

That's why you piss and moan so much. If you carry on long enough, maybe Nissan will let you out of your lease.
Now THAT'S funny!

I like my Z, however, the Tire noise after a while gets me. I wished my A/C worked, and they have a new transmission on order for it. My Service engine soon light came on today. It's really starting to get to me. I love this car to death, but it's falling apart under my fingers.
