A&Q about 350Z
Q:
Ok, so I got my car lowered today with eibach springs (about 1" all the way around). Before I got my springs put on, I asked the installer (one of my good friends from High school who runs the business) to do a quick spot alignment. Well the camber was off in the front and back to -2.9/-2.8. Hmmmm. He said negative camber is often put on cars to increase cornering and handling ability, however the specs for Nissan are -2.0--+2.0. So right there the camber was off. The toe on the other hand, was off so much he actually busted out laughing. He even went so far to ask me if I had been in an accident in the car. So I said F*** it, just put the springs on, and we will correct it as much as possible. After springs were placed both camber and toe were no where close...but after another alignment they were set within Nissan specs. So is this the answer to half the posts on this forum...hmmm. Just my two cents for the day....drew

I just hope that mods will not make the feathering worse. God forbid you try to get Nissan to fix it. They did not accept responsibilty before and they sure as hell won't after you mod it. Good luck...

I have found from personal experience that you generally don't see sound. Either you hear it or you don't - on the other hand if you are saying the feathering wasn't visable then the tires weren't feathered.

Whoa, bro. You can still hear it upon deceleration without seeing it on the tires themselves. If you don't believe me, go to 350zforum.com. Looks like YOU are the one lacking knowledge about the Z, not me.

Actually I find 350zforum a pain in the azz to use so you keep going there and enlightening those of us who have better things to do with our time.
A:
How do you manage to have time to visit all the z sites? You would think someone as successfull (afterall you drive a BMW) as you would be too busy to spend so much time researching a car you don't even own. Too bad you didn't spend more time on the BMW sies before you bought yours.

Aww, scorpion, I never knew you cared. You're giving me a warm and fuzzy all over...
A:
Not me - I think that warm fuzzy feeling must be the soft caress of your BMW mechanics hand on your azz as he starts to bend you over.
A:
actually, ZNESS is new to bmw and didn't get the memo yet that bmw-ilk do not hang out on forums harassing underlings like us.
he'll get thrown out of the club if they find out.

Lowering my 350Z 1" won't work. I have to pass over two huge speed bumps when I leave my community. I can't avoid them. I just make it over them now. Another 1' lower and I will be eating asphalt.
