Flip flop the front tires really helps!

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

"that's stall tactic #1, welcome to the feathering club."
Stall tactic #2 is when the technician tells you "the tires are supposed to do that, it's a freakin' sports car." Stall tactic #3 is "reckless driving is not covered under warranty." Stall tactic #4 is when you wrap the car around a telephone poll and the feathering is beyond recognition, voiding Nissan of any liability. And so on and so on, until you choke from the BS that you have just been forcefed.
A:

Stall tactic #5 is when you trade you Z in for a BMW and regret it the rest of your life.

I can confirm 6 sales to other manufacturers (1 mustang cobra, 3 corvettes and 2 BMW's) over them not fixing my car. I've personally cost Nissan almost what the car cost me in profits so not fixing just my car is expensive. I do enjoy driving the car but I also expect Nissan to fix it. Otherwise, I'll continue to ensure that I warn as many people as I can about Nissan in general.
There are two ways Nissan can go with this:
1. fix the car and let me at least say they stepped up and did the right thing.
2. They don't fix the car and I continue to cost them in lost sales.
I do like driving the car which is its saving grace and I can afford to put new tires on it but don't feel that's my responsibility.

Nissan is replaceing my tires for free incase you retards ZNESS BFORESMAN theres a tsb out and bforeman you really crack me up do you think your going to make nissan go bankrupt because your going around telling everyone not to by the Z why dont you get a life do you think they really care that the lost 6 sales because of you. MY GOD STOP FREAKING CRYING ALL THE TIME and just enjoy a nice car

"Why not demand new tires? This is what I mean. Nissan grease monkeys do not want to bother fixing this car. They are taking advantage of your hard earned dollars. Demand better."
When i was a little kid, i would kick and scream until i was blue in the face, didn't get me anywhere. Point is, I can demand, but they are the ones who authorize replacement tires, so i have to go with their plan of attack. I don't like it, but if they put new tires on my car, they will be the same as what come on the car, i am back in the same boat 7K miles later. i want to prove that these tires suck, then i can get a different set of tires on the front and replace my rear tires to match. i just can't wait until they start shaking and making noise like you guys have said. this should drive me crazy.

I really can't believe the ignorance about this issue. You people who think this isn't costing Nissan big $$$ & customers - are simply fools. Did you not read, the TSB was issued mainly because of web site feedback. Sales have dropped significantly and there sitting on used lots cheap. If you go thru life settling for mediocrity but are willing to pay full price anyway and just think that changing tires is going to fix an obvious suspension problem - well then congradulations you've just won the ASSCLOWN award!
Tires are a band-aid the wear WILL come back everytime. Until you fix the real problem thru adjustable suspension your just going to live with it. I too know quite a few people whom are not buying Z's just because of this.
I saw a track model with 17,000 miles sell for $23,000 just this last weekend. I though about buying it myself just because I know I can fix the problem permanetly for way under $1000

Tell us how you could fix the tire feathering problem for "way under $1000"?
-Zanioed '03 Le Mans Sunset Touring Coupe w/ Nav.
A:

no sh-t!
how would you do that?
A:

its also called an aftermarket suspension... i believe they are already sold...haha
A:

don't worry because there will be quite a few cheap used Z's on the way. Dealers will stop taking them in or won't pay $hit for them. The dealers aren't stupid and they have to live by Nissan's warranty rules but not when it comes to taking them on trade. This car will be hit HARD in the aftermarket.
Since I leased mine I'll at least get the last laugh when they have to sell it.
A:

That's why you piss and moan so much. If you carry on long enough, maybe Nissan will let you out of your lease.
Now THAT'S funny!
Man up, already.

Nissan wont let me out of my lease for any reason. There's a serious problem with this car and Nissan should fix it or be made to fix it.
I have "man'd up" as you say it and bought new tires. Anyone that says they can afford to buy new tires as needed with this car is a bit foolish. The $1K+ a year yo spend on this car will cost you 10X that if you were to invest it properly in say real estate or you own business. That's the money I'm complaining about not the cost of the new tires but the opportunity cost of the $1K. Think a little on this and you'll understand where I'm coming from.
