this happens when certain pieces are painted seperately from other pieces. Although the are in an "environmentally contolled" area, sligh changes like 1/2 a degree in temp or humidity can slightly alter the shade of a color, which is why its so important to paint all pieces of a car at the same time and place. Im guessing nissan doesnt.
