Q:
Getting belt squeal, want to tighten the belt. Kind of unsure if I can damage/put stress on the pulleys if it's too tight. I see some of you tighten your belt as "tight as you can."
Opinions?
Second:
My tranny is making noise at deaccleration and when downshifting at low speeds. Is this normal? It made this noise prior to the tranny swap and it still made it afterwards. So I dont its the tranny is it. Ideas?

If the sound doesn't change when the clutch is depressed, then it's most likely the tire wear problem, not the transmission.
