A&Q about 350Z
Q:
Hi Guys, Anybody out here buy the Z badges (Front and back) and put them on their 350Z? I like the one's that Cortesy Nissan has to replace the OEM Nissan "Burgers". I think they would look sweet on my Z. Are there holes under these? How hard to put on? What do you guys think?, Thanks...Pete
A:
i replaced the one on the front with the chrome Z. i think it looks pretty good. i left the back one the way it was.

Do you have any close-ups on the badge ?

this is as close as i have, but you can't make out much because it's so shiny.

it's carbon fiber on top and fiberglass on the underside. the stock hood is surprisingly light, so the weight savings is only a few pounds.
nah, i didn't get the vent liners. i decided to test it out without them. i think it's going to be fine. my engine bay was a little dirtier this weekend, but nothing major.
i was thinking i might paint the hood to match the car. opinions are welcome. i can't decide if i like it.
there are more pictures if you go to my website.

hmm... IMHO i'm not too fond of the large square shapped U surronding the vent...it's still a really nice hood though! i've been debating about throwing a CF hood on my car to accent the spoiler...
of course that is quite a ways down the chain of "things to do" my first is to beat the living crap out of my Bose radio...after getting another one of course...
