The pre-production special price was $675. Since I purchased them primarily to eliminate the bad bouncing experienced on a certain section of highway I travel on a daily basis, I'm not sure that it was a good investment. Yes, the bouncing is reduced, but still very much there. To be fair, however, I haven't yet played with the firmness settings, so maybe things will improve with a little tweaking.
