Remove 350z emblem on rear

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

Hey,
What do you guys think of removing the 350Z decal on the rear hatch and replacing with a chrome NISMO emblem ? Do you all know if the 350z emblem is easily removed (glued on or screws)? Any advice appreciated.

Glued on with two holes under it. Use heat gun to remove

I think it's dorky to remove the car's nameplate and attach something else. Fairlady Z or Nismo or Super Cool Car Dude ... they all say the same thing to me.
With that said, it's your car and whatever looks good to you when you walk back into the garage after getting the mail is all that matters.
Good luck with your decision.
BTW, I think the 350Z is just glued on without holes. The Nissan burger has holes.
I think.

Thanks for the opinion. I really don't wanna make it look dorky. I'll re-think this before going further. thanks again.

there are no holes under the 350Z emblem, its just glued on and is easily removed with a bit of heat and some floss or a credit card. Unless you have the full nismo treatment i wouldnt dare put any nismo emblem on the car, especially in place of the 350Z. The only thing I'd remove would be the big nissan burgers but unfortunately theres holes under the back and the indentation in the front.

I kind of like them without the burger when done well. Similar to how smooth the z32 looks without the burger nose plate since it never had any other burgers on it... just 300ZX faintly in the middle tail assembly.

not to mention the "Fairlady" namen pays more tribute to it's heritage... I guess some would argue that fact seeing how it isn't in Japan but whatever...

So where can one find all these after market emblems?
A:

I actually wanted to do the whole treatment of NISMO on my Z (Chrome Nismo emblem on rear and sides, remove the front Nissan emblem, and put a NISMO windshield logo) but I am afraid it will be too much or maybe dorky and like a wanna-be or something. What do you guys think ?

i dont understand, why would you do that? you have no nismo parts. If anything yank the nissan burgers off, but thats it.
