Guys,
I have had my car for over 2 weeks now. It never has been washed since I owned it. Is it okay to wax the car this early?
I visited Zaino's website, and not sure what to get(Z-2, Z-3,etc??). Somebody can advise me what to get (something simple to do and not like 10 different coats-hehe).
Also, how many of you have your car washed by an outsider?

Yes, it's okay to start waxing (even though Zaino is not really "wax") your new Z.
You might as well get the Zaino kit as it will have everything you need. You need to have Z-7, Z-5, Z-2 and Z-6 plus the ZFX at a minimum. It's not a bad idea to Claybar the car either.
The Zaino site has all the details on it as far as what to do and how. You might want to check out My350Z.com, it has a Detailing forum with quite a few Zaino experts on it. They can answer any questions you might have. Of course, you can always call Sal Zaino himself as he is happy to take questions from us.

No. As Zaino instructs. Wash with liquid Dawn detergent only the first time to remove any dealer wax or residue. Thereafter, only use Zainos car wash. I use Z-5 because I have a black track model and it seems to work better for darker colored cars where swirl marks and scratches are more apparent. I would order Zainos total protection car kit that includes everything you need. Follow Zainos step-by-step instructions to a T. If you have any questions, call or E-mail the owner, Sal Zaino, and he will ge glad to help you. I am 53 (sad to say) and owned cars since I was 15 and have never been more satisfied with the results I get from Zainos. I am definitely hooked and E-mailed Sal a big "Bravo." He responded with a heart felt Thanks! That's the cool thing about Sal, he's always available and ready to help you out with any questions you have about your car's paint finish.

Yes all factory cars have clearcoats. Otherwise it would be very dull looking. The clearcoat makes the paint have the shine and protects it.
