A&Q about 350Z
Q:
I know most people hate the idea of having a bike rack on a 350Z, however, I modified an exsisting rack w/ Yakima parts to fit the Z that is not permanent and will fit on the back of the hatchback without doing any damage to the car. This rack looks really good on the Z and can be taken off when not in use. Let me know if anyone is interseted. I can email pics later.

Thanks, I am hoping to put snow boards and a surf board on it as well.

Has anyone tried this bike rack from Bird Automotive?
Nissan 350Z Bike Rack® with Golf Bag Carrier, Ski Rack, Snowboard Rack and Luggage Rack Options 2003+
http://www.birdautomotive.com/Bike%20Rack%20Nissan%20350Z.htm
The Bird Automotive Nissan 350Z Bike Rack for Coupe and Roadster is shown installed in the Receiver Pipes of the 350Z Coupe in the picture on the right. The two Pipes serve as receivers for the all versions of the Rack in a manner similar to trailer hitch racks seen on SUV's. They are 1" diameter, painted black and are intentionally inconspicuous. They are located between the factory tailpipes, recessed behind the Bumper and tailpipes as shown below. The Nissan 350Z Bike Rack carries up to three bikes. Golf Bag Carrier - Luggage Rack and Ski/Snowboard Rack Options are available. When not in use, the Rack is easily removed in less than a minute and can be stored in the trunk.
