A&Q about 350Z
Q:

Don't buy it. If you worked that hard to save 22k. You should invest the money and grow it!!! Don't pi$$ it away on a car.... Any car for that matter
A:

A:

He was specific and asked for OTD pricing on a mid-year '04 or an '05 base model 350Z.
Hey, MUZZY, I paid $34,350 OTD for my '03 Performance model in August 2002. I wonder if that's closer to an answer than the others ....
Geez.

I just bought an '03 Enthusiast for $22k, with 12,000 miles on it. It was the best deal in the metro area. You're probably not going to find an '05, low miles or not, that's worth buying for 22k or less. I was looking at '04s that were around $27-28k that had less than 20k miles on them. And I'm in the midwest where pricing for cars is probably slightly less than towards the coasts. But hey, 22k is a pretty hefty down payment on an '05 or '06. Your payments wouldn't be that much if you financed the rest. Heck you could probably pay it off in a year or so.

I paid 31K for an '05 Performance model (redline) with 4 miles on it. I say buy the car but take care of it since it's taken time to save up for it. Life is too short to have regrets!

22k cash at 21? Unless you are making over triple that a year, already have a home/etc, I wouldn't spend it on a car. At 21 y/o, with 22k in the back and putting 50$ a week in, you will be a multimillionaire by around 50, with that alone. I'm a slightly a hypocrite but I do it as a business and eliminate depcreciation as a factor. I am 20 in college and have about 15k in cars/bikes, but I bought them all for under market value and sell them within 6 months to gaurantee no $ loss.
