2004 model feathering Y/N??

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

I did a search on the forumto see if feathering has been a problem for anyone with 2004 models and there have been no posts in the last 90 days. The earlier posts were from October 2003.
So with more 2004 owners out there now and more mileage racked up on their 2004's.... whats your experience?
How many miles on your original 2004 model tires and have you had any problems?
Thanks

Go to :

and search under the "Repairing" section.
You need to sign in, it is WELL worth it.
There are posts there that have confirmed feathering/cupping/chopping issues on 2004 350Zs.

Get it into your head that Nissan executives/designers/engineers build cars in order to make more money to buy themselves German cars.
A:

Nissan management just like BMW or any other business is in business to make money. As far as moving down to German cars who knows - who cares? Like I've said previously, you obviously don't have a lot of experience with "Premium European" cars.

By "Premium European" cars, do you mean Audi or Volkswagen? They're pure crap and BMW/Mercedes wannabes, plus they drive like Fords. Every souped up Honda, Acura, and Lexus that you see on the street is a wannabe M3. Every souped up 350Z, Supra and S2000 is a wannabe 911. Period.

ZLESS:
Just because a car cost more, doesn't make it a better car to the consumer.

ZNESS, thank you for continuing to illustrate why entry level BMW drivers have the reputation they have.

Paying for new tires every year does not make you more of an enthusiast than any other car owner.

That was certainly intelegent ZNESS. You might want to go back and edit you moron.

And Scorpion, we all know that you are paying half of your salary each month for the privilege of driving your feathering Z. Also, how much is insurance for an 18 year old like yourself?
A:

Thank you for editing your incoherent posting. After you grow up you'll learn that successfull people generally don't put a whole lot of value on salary but on the value of their portfolio - you know (although you probably don't) net worth and those kinds of things you only read about (you can read can't you?). Go back to flipping burgers you loser.

I am sure that when the 2004 models exhibit feathering, Nissan will do their absolute best to cover it up. They will place the enitire blame on the typical sports car chump, er, consumer, for "cornering too hard".
