A&Q about 350Z
Q:
Hi all,
I have 4-5 months till our house is built and I will finally have a Garage , So I purchased a very nice NEXTEC cover. I picked up a california dust bush , and wipe it off every night and cover it .. It came out nice and clean after 7 days of rain last week. So it seems to be working out.
My big question to all of you is ehat are the Pro's + Cons to this method ..
Thanks,
Steve D

Make sure the car is clean before you put the cover on to prevent fine scratches. When I put my cover on I always give it a good wash.

I found a really good waterproof cover at target for about 35 bucks, worth every penny, I use it overnight because of the sprinklers. your car will be fine with that nice cover you got. I would not worry much about the cover scratching the paint unless you cover the car while traveling, you know like when you haul it behind you in a trailer.

I have had the factory cover over one year now and it fits the car perfectly and it allows any mositure to escape. The car finish always looks great. I even used it during our cold NJ winter with the ice and snow. No problems. I bought my cover on-line through Courtesy Nissan.
Get the Nissan factory cover it fits and works great. The cover even has a piece that fits over the antenna.

Try using the California Dust Brush, it will probably leave less scratches than the dust bush.
Could not resist picking up on the typo.
If you don't have a garage, a car cover is the next best thing. I have a couple of cars I don't drive at all in the winter and they are garaged. But, I keep them covered as well. I bought these covers a few years ago I think they are called technalon or something like that. I like them because I was able to use them outside before I got the garage space. They keep the moisture and elements off of the car but also allow air to circulate through it cutting down on moisture building up under the cover and preventing any potential rust problems.
