A&Q about 350Z
Q:
Does anyone have a good choice of cleaners that works on our Z's?
My driver's seat cover was replaced a few months ago. I'm basically the only one in my car, no dogs, no cats. But still my cloth interior looks worn and dirty.

I'd suggest trying Griot's Garage Interior cleaner. I've used it on a variety of cars and had very good results.

Tuff Stuff foam cleaner...

Unfortunately, Nissan made a very poor choice of material for the cloth interiors. It is the same stuff they used on the Xterra. It does not wear well, stains easily and is very difficult to clean. I own an automoitve interior repair company. We work only for dealers and rental car companies, serving over 300 dealers. We see a lot of interiors. When we come up with the 350 and Xterra cloth interiors we don't even attempt to repair and or clean them. The detailers at the Nissan stores are always asking if we have anything that can clean these interiors because they have great difficulty cleaning them. Unfortunately, it's just the nature of the material. Any of the stuff mentioned or typical household cleaners will work up to a point. Don't use a brush unless it is very very soft. The brush will fray the fabric. Once you've gotten them reasonably clean you may want to consider treating them with something like a scotch guard that may help keep the dirt from adhering to the fibers and be easier to clean. I got my roadster with leather soley because of the crappy cloth interior. Good luck.

350 Z - Charcoal cloth - looks great with the Silver - - durable material - wont be a cleaning problem - and never burn the legs like the leather did in the 300 ZX !! ( No more leather for me in Arizona )
Love the car!
