I've decided to relent and buy tires for the Z even though "the tire feathering fix" isn't out. Where's the best place to get Pilot Sports with the stock sizes?

I'd hold off. I heard the tire fix ie. different tires is imminent.

I've been hearing about a fix for just over a year now...

every week or so someone has the inside scoop from their dealer or a secret agent or the government or their brother-in-laws ex wife whos current husband has a friend that works for Nissan or their pet dog, that a "FIX" will be released next week. Ill believe it when I see it cause no one on this site has crap for evidence when a fix will be released.

I just had my car checked out by another shop that does nothing but alignments. They're a father/son shop that's been around forever and have the latest equipment which means they've forgotten more about aligning a car than standard Nissan techs.
Yesterday, the Nissan dealer reported the car was out of alignment and I would have to pay for this set of front tires. I took the car over to the aforementioned shop and they say it's dead-on Nissan specs. Go figure.
BTW - they do all the work for the Infiniti dealer who also owns the Nissan place.
So, it's back to arguing with Nissan about new tires.

Sorry bout that jmark. It was March 4th, slightly over one month since I received my latest email stating that the fix was on the way. Obviously you have made contact since then. I was in Atlanta Ga. today and spoke to a Nissan Dealer Rep (from Sutherlin) who said he has heard nothing about a new tire.
